Casey Stoner has confirmed he will miss the next three rounds of the FIM MotoGP World Championship due to a mystery illness. Stoner, the 2007 MotoGP champion, has been suffering from severe fatigue since the Grand Prix of Catalunya in June and was a dismal 14th at Donington Park in the last race aboard his Marlboro Ducati. Doctors have now advised the 23-year-old Australian, who lies third in the standings behind Fiat Yamaha duo Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, to sit out the next three rounds beginning in Brno this Sunday.
