The quickest racer in practice for MotoGP World Championship race at Laguna Seca was the italian Valentino Rossi, He is looking for his consecutive win coming weekend. He leads by 5 points in overall standings leaving his team mate Lorenzo second and Australian Stoner third. Rossi clocked around 1.22min with his final lap and finished 0.112s ahead of Lorenzo and 0.189s of Stoner.
