In 1995 Mercedes launched the E Class in India Which formed a platform for the current lineup. The company planed to increase its output of trucks, buses and auto accessories in Brazil to fulfill rising demand. The company will invest around 928 million U.S. dollars over the next three years to expand its production capacity by 25 percent.
