1.55 lakh customers

Tata Motors announced that it has completed the process of selecting 1.5 lakh owners of Tata Nano from among 2 lakh applicants who had booked the car.Over 1.5 lakh customers has been selected by Tata Motors for its small car NANO, the delivery of the cars will start from july this year.Tata Motors launched Nano on march 23, 2009 in Mumbai, and the booking started from April 9 to 25. Sales will begin in july 2009.

Jenson Button stays positive


Jenson Button believes that the Red Bulls can be tamed after a disappointment in British Grand Prix. He won six of the first seven races this year. By finishing sixth in the last race he was unhappy for not able to give the crowd what they had come for. He came away with three points and lost seven to Vettel, which is not great.

GP2 ASIA SERIES


In late 2004 GP2 Series was created from which the GP2 Asia Series has evolved and it has been a huge success. The first GP2Asia series started last year in Dubai. Romain Grosjean won the championship with sixty points and was crowned the inaugural champion. The rules of GP2 Asia Series is quite different compared to GP Series.The series consist of 8 races. With 600bph engine the cars are more precarious. The safety rules are similar as in F1.

TVS launches Apache RTR 180


The new Apache RTR 180 has been launched by TVS Motor Company in Indian market. This appealing pearl white color model is ready for sale and priced around Rs.64000. It is powered by 177.4cc single cylinder, 4 stroke engine. It has a similar look of earlier Apache RTR 160. The front and rear disc brakes, new graphics are the new things seen apart from the engine.

Rolls Royce





In 1906 Charles Rolls and Henry Royce found a company, which is now one of the respected marque - Rolls Royce. This costliest brand is affordable only by the richest. The company’s latest models are Rolls Royce Phantom and Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead coupe which costs around US$ 875,000.

The design sketches of next new model has been revealed by the Rolls Royce and the new model is named as RR4, the car is to be launched in 2010. This new model will be smaller than Phantom and powered by a new engine, unique to Rolls-Royce.

RR4 will mark a milestone in the history of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

TATA nano


At last TATA NANO all set to hit the road soon. With a 623 CC engine at the rear and fuel efficiency of 25.6 km/L, the world cheapest car (US$2000) comes in different colors like Bright Red, Ivory White, Summer Blue, Sunshine Yellow Champagne Gold, and Lunar Silver. Tata Nano CX - deluxe version is priced Rs 1, 48,725. Tata Nano LX variant – luxury version is priced Rs 1, 70,335 which is within the reach of middle class family. The methods that were used to save cost are: single windscreen wiper is fixed instead of a pair, some exterior parts are glued, has no power steering and only three nuts are used on the wheels instead of four. Tata motors have built a car that suit the need of middle class family.
